[If he has consumed any aphrodisiacs, they’re either a small, slow-acting dosage, or Shiro’s got some kind of resistance to them thanks to something in his past. Either way, though he’s starting to feel a little warm, the Paladin isn’t showing any real signs or feeling major effects from the drugs. Which he’s still hoping isn’t going to be a problem. If he’s lucky, he’ll have skirted by and not… really had a bad encounter. Feeling like he shouldn’t embarrass Sabo further by watching him try to clean the accident up, Shiro turns attention to the other man’s lodging. His own apartment, assigned to him by the people who run this place, is practically bare bones, having had no time to decorate or even get supplies to stock it. Well, it does have a suit of Paladin armor in it right now… so that’s something at least? Still feels a little awkward to walk into, since it reminds him of a prisoner cell. Not a good feeling. He needs to décor and quick (though he’s grateful to have a personal lodging at any rate).]
I was just curious. [Shiro feels a slight embarrassment as well when the suggestion comes back on Sabo’s tongue. Hearing it from someone else, it does sound pretty extreme. The revolutionary’s disagreeing sound kind of seals the deal. So scratch that idea for now.] You’re right. Trying to stage something like that without preparation is pretty foolish. [He follows Sabo out of the kitchen and stands by the wall for now while the other man gets more comfortable in his own home. It’s no surprise the guy’s winded. Maybe he was more a behind-the-scenes member of the revolutionary army rather than a front-line fighter. Question for later.]
Me? I feel fine. [Shiro lifts his arm and twists his hand back and forth as if he’s proving his own words to himself. But Sabo makes a comment that piques him.] How do you know it’s safe? Unless you have your own garden. [He’d mention hunting his own food, but if the people running this place can drug people, then what’s to say they can’t drug animals? He leaves the wall behind and heads into the room, taking one of the other seats nearby.
And that’s when he feels something a lot hot rush right up his chest and pool under his collar. Feels like a hot flash and he mentally curses at the realization. On the one hand, finally. Now they can stop wondering. On the other hand, shit. He really hoped he’d avoided having to weather this kind of drug…]
