But he wants Shiro to relax and to have some time to himself, so he'll follow through with it regardless of whether it's a good idea or not. Given, time to himself implies that he'll be leaving the Paladin alone, but... well, that's up to Shiro. As much as he might want to spend more time with him, Mananan won't push his presence on him. He feels too protective of Shiro to be willing to go against his wishes.
